Friday Best Ball Format: Summer Rules. Play the ball as it lies. In this format both players play their own ball from tee to green with the better of the two scores on each hole counting towards the team total. The score that counts must be holed. The ball that will not count need not be holed and can be picked up.

Saturday Scramble Format: Preferred lies within one club length, within the same environment of the chosen ball. If a ball from the fairway was chosen as the in-play ball, then both shots must be hit from the fairway cut of grass. If a shot from the rough, fringe, sand or green was chosen then both shots must be hit from the same cut of grass or from the sand if a sand location was chosen. Golf balls on the putting surface may be moved one putter head length no nearer the hole. However, the ball must remain in the same cut of grass that was chosen to hit from. Both players are allowed to hit tee shots on each hole. The “better” of the two shots is then determined and both players hit from the “better“ location. This format is repeated until the ball is holed.

Sunday Format: Chapman Alternate Shot: Summer Rules. Play the ball as it lies. In this format both players tee off on each tee. Both players then “switch balls” -meaning that the partners hit their second shots from the location of their partner’s tee shot. After hitting both second shots one of the balls is chosen as “in play” and the other is picked up. The chosen ball is then hit alternately into the hole. (If player “A’s” second shot is chosen –then player “B” hits the third shot.) Balls may not be substituted on the way to the green. Once on the green a ball in play may be substituted for a different ball. The ball must be holed out.

Driving Range balls are complimentary for the weekend.
